Art After Baby
INCCA is pleased to announce the second edition of Art After Baby (AAB), which is again supported by the National Arts Council South Africa (NAC) Presidential Employment Stimulus Programme (PESP 5). Two successful artists will be selected to receive a living wage for two months, as well as their own solo exhibitions at Victoria Yards in Johannesburg in early 2025, mentorship and online promotion of their work through dedicated text. AAB is excited to put out an open call and invite visual artists based in Gauteng, South Africa to apply. AAB is appealing specifically to those who are trying to juggle art-making with motherhood, caregiving or have been impacted by loss.

GLEAM
Olbrich Botanical Gardens invites proposals for temporary, light-based installations for GLEAM, Art in a New Light, a public art exhibition situated within a 16-acre Midwest landscape or 10,000 sq ft tropical conservatory. In celebration of the 10th anniversary, the 2025 GLEAM exhibit will center on the concept of reflection. GLEAM will be open for public viewing from August 23 – October 25.

All About Photo is a leading platform in the photography industry showcasing the work of famous photographers as well as new talents. The 44th issue of AAP Magazine will be centered around street photography. Winners receive $1,000, their images published, and press coverage.All winners will have their work published in the 44th printed issue of AAP Magazine, a free copy of the magazine and their portfolio showcased in the Winners Gallery of www.all-about-photo.com.

Art Scene West is accepting fine art photography of every genre inside their San Diego Art Gallery from December 14, 2024, to January 31, 2025. Yale Call for Art Recognizing Enslavement
Yale’s Committee for Art Recognizing Enslavement (CARE) is seeking artists with experience in public art, socially engaged art, or participatory art to create artistic interventions, permanent and ephemeral, and related programming in New Haven to address Yale’s historical roles and associations with slavery and the slave trade as well as the legacy of that history. Artists are invited to submit proposals in response to the list of priority sites that the Committee has identified as important prospective sites of historical events, public accessibility, and current use. A full list will be provided upon artist selection but research of the sites is not required for this stage of the selection process.

Alexander Rutsch Award and Exhibition for Painting 2025
Pelham Art Center is pleased to announce a call for entries for the 13th biennial Alexander Rutsch Award and Exhibition for Painting.Open to artists 19 and older, this award offers one artist $7,500, a solo exhibition, and a printed catalog at Pelham Art Center. $2,500 is divided among the finalists, and there is a $25 application fee.

VIA ART Fund
Emphasizing direct engagement with contemporary visual art, VIA Art Fund supports projects that exemplify our core values of artistic production, thought leadership, and public engagement, VIA–by way of–Art. Partnering directly with artists, curators, and cultural institutions around the world, VIA Art Fund patrons support innovative artistic endeavors in various forms, from the production of new work for exhibition and institutional acquisition, to symposia, educational programs, publications and scholarly journals.This grant awards individual artists, nonprofit organizations, and institutions between $25,000 and $100,000 to commission works outside museum or gallery walls, within the public realm, or in nontraditional exhibition environments. Projects must have a confirmed exhibition venue.

Material Works Art Awards
The Material Works Art Award supports artists through a one-time $2500.00 grant in exchange for an original artwork that will join our growing contemporary art collection. This award recognizes artistic excellence and aims to promote career advancement through increasing visibility and exposure. The Material Works Art Awards are currently accepting applications from artists with contemporary art practices. Visual artists working worldwide in painting, photography, installation, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, mixed-media, experimental, and conceptual art are eligible to apply. Saguro National Parks Residency
Saguaro National Park, nestled in the heart of the Sonoran Desert, stands as a testament to the breathtaking beauty of the American Southwest, boasting a unique blend of cultural richness and ecological diversity that captivates visitors from around the globe. Spanning two distinct districts, to the west and east of Tucson, the park showcases the iconic saguaro cactus, a symbol of the American West, against a backdrop of rugged landscapes and magical, vibrant sunsets. The park’s cultural significance is deeply rooted in the history of the Akimel O’otham and Tohono O’odham, and other indigenous people who have inhabited this region for centuries, as well as the Petroglyphs of the Hohokam culture on Signal Hill. All mediums are eligible for this June 2025 residency in the Saguro National Park, which offers a $3,000 stipend and living accommodations. Application fees range from $60 for one artist to $120 for a duo and $160 for a group.
