AAP Magazine ‘Women’ Open Call
The 38th edition of All About Photo Magazine encourages photographers to celebrate all the important things women do. Applications should submit a cohesive body of work capturing the essence, hard work, beauty, resilience, and kindness of women. Winners will receive $1,000, their winning image(s) published in the magazine, and press coverage.

Champaign Country African American Heritage Mural Trial Mural Series
40 North and the Champaign County African American Heritage Trail invite artists to apply to develop location-specific murals celebrating the lives and contributions of African Americans in the Champaign County (IL) area. Each commission will come with an average budget of $30,000.

Rough Cut Lab Africa
In striving to connect filmmakers on the continent beyond land and borders our biggest obstacle remains the barrier of language. This year’s RCLA is hosted in Maputo, Mozambique, and is open to submissions from all over the continent.RCLA supports filmmakers’ struggles in the rough cut editing phase of story telling. With targeted consultation and detailed discussions around story construction, obstacles, unforeseen problems and possible ways forward.Through the rigorous submissions process 9 African long-form independent documentary projects will be selected where both director and editor are invited to allow the RCLA into their worlds.

2024 International Photography Competition
In its 13th year, the International Photography Competition is hosting an open call. Hosted by the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, the contest will award one winner $1,000, and several photographers will be featured in an exhibition.

Roswell Artist in Residency Program
This program offers six artists a place to live and work for a year, with a monthly stipend of $1,100. Artists will have solo exhibitions at the Roswell Museum and have the opportunity to have a work purchased for the permanent collection of the Anderson Museum of Contemporary Art. There is a $25 application fee.

2024 Francophonie Competition
The Francophonie Festival is a global annual event promoting French language and cultural diversity. To mark it this year, the French Embassy in South Africa invites non-native French speakers, aged 14 to 25 from South Africa, Lesotho, and Malawi to enter its 2024 Francophonie competition. Prizes range from gift vouchers to a trip to France! If French isn’t your mother tongue, you could win, among many prizes, one of four unforgettable trips to France. Participants must be 16 or above to win a trip abroad. Those younger than 16 may win gifts and vouchers.

2024 Annecy Film Festival
Every year, Annecy inspires and rocks the world to the rhythm of animation by highlighting the creative dynamism and richness this sector represents. From exclusive presentations of the latest animated works to demonstrations of the latest and future trends, via meetings with seasoned directors and emerging talents, the Annecy International Animation Festival is an exciting celebration in an exceptional setting. Submit your animated film for a chance to compete in the official selection of the next Annecy International Animated Film Festival! The festival will take place from 9 – 15 June 2024.

Bemis Centre Artist-In-Residence Program
Artists receive access to private live/work studios, a $1,250 monthly stipend, and a $750 travel stipend. Residents also have 24-hour access to extensive installation and production spaces and the Okada Sculpture & Ceramics Facility, a 9,000-square-foot industrial space used for large-scale sculpture fabrication, plus a sound studio for rehearsing and recording. There is a $40 application fee.

Diriyah Art Futures Emerging New Media Artists Program
Diriyah Art Futures launches a concept-driven digital and technology-led creative production and training program for emerging artists working in new media and digital arts. This one-year scholarship supports emerging artists by providing access to cutting-edge professional equipment, a production budget, and a range of multidisciplinary learning opportunities, including personal mentorship by prominent international digital artists.
