Forward-thinking design meets reimagined aesthetics with OZWEEGO – Powered by the Past. adidas Originals unearths a design from its archives to create a modern-day icon, the OZWEEGO silhouette. The OZWEEGO makes use of features from a core 90s silhouette radically reshaping the aesthetic for the modern wearer. The reimagined runner is inspired by the 1998, OZWEEGO 3, a lightweight, comfortable cushioned runner. 2019’s iteration sees the silhouette taking on a futuristic design that boasts a distinctive stay panel, defined midsole lines as well as a translucent support tube.
Adding to its accolades, OZWEEGO has signature adiPRENE technology harnessed from the adidas archives, ‘mutating adidas Originals DNA for creators today’. In the 90s it was worn with pride as a symbol of technological innovation in footwear, adiPRENE is a way of rethinking a performance of the past shaping it into ultimate comfort for today’s wearer.
Born from an ongoing search into future footwear aesthetics, OZWEEGO encapsulates the vibrance of a new generation of creators.
